Our First 2019 Meeting!!!!

Today we got together for our first meeting with an amazing team of students to begin preparing for our 2019 LMS Skypeathon! We covered what to expect and set some goals for what we want to happen before February 28. Our group of nine sixth graders, six seventh graders and eight eighth graders is going to have an awesome time meeting new people, learning about cultures and countries and having an opportunity to shine in their school.  Mrs. Gordon, Mrs. Rhoades and Mrs. Collinsworth are all excited about the Skypeathon and the chance to spend 24 hours with these kids!

Plan! Plan! Plan!

Mrs. Rhoades & Mrs. Gordon are knee deep in the planning process for our amazing event! Mrs. Rhoades is gathering contacts (teachers, friends, family, famous people, interesting careers) while Mrs. Gordon is working on food & fun donations!  If you can help with either, please email them at rhoadesm@lisd.net or gordonk@lisd.net!
